The history of eM4 is tied directly to the idea of affordable gaming. Founded in the year 2000 by Doug Cowie (one of the original forces behind Grenadier Models U.K.) and Clive, the company was built to keep classic miniatures lines alive and introduce new ones—all while ensuring the price tag wasn't prohibitive.

The mission was reinforced and revitalised when the current owners, Charlie and Magdalena, took the reins. Charlie, coming from a large family, understood firsthand the challenge of maintaining a miniatures hobby with limited spare income.

We remember those days. We know what it's like to have a passion for painting and playing but feel excluded by escalating prices. That memory is why we are dedicated to providing products that allow you to build an entire army, skirmish gang, or role-playing cast without constantly checking your bank balance.
