You part the heavy, ash-stained brambles of the volcanic crags, your boots crunching on scorched earth. Survival check? 18. Excellent. You notice the faint, shimmering distortion of heat rising from a hollow beneath a jagged outcrop.
There, nestled in a bed of crushed obsidian shards and smouldering embers, lies your prize. It isn't a hoard of gold, but something infinitely more volatile.
At first glance, your eyes play tricks on you. It looks like a standard, heavily calcified dragon egg, radiating a pulsing, internal warmth. But this is no dormant relic. This little beast apparently lacked the patience for a traditional hatching cycle.
Before you is a living, breathing paradox—a creature trapped midway between incubation and infancy:
A thick, iridescent carapace that serves as a walking fortress. It's heavily scorched from the nest's heat and offers a natural Armor Class that would make a paladin jealous. This hatchling didn't bother waiting to break the shell entirely. Instead, its razor-sharp horns have pierced violently through the crown of the egg. Four scaled, muscular arms and legs have punched completely through the sides, allowing the egg to stand, scurry, and kick with surprising force. A restless tail protrudes from the rear, whipping back and forth, scattering sparks into the brush
3D printed in resin, this miniature is ready for painting straight out of the box.
All our miniatures are printed to order. This can affect the turnaround time for dispatching orders. We do our best to remove all of the supports used during the 3D printing process, however in some cases there may be evidence of the supports remaining.
Also, if your interested in files you can print your self, we have an ever expanding variety of STL files for 3d printing available at https://www.myminifactory.com/users/Modular%20Worlds
